I became aware of Irving Penn’s work after visiting an exhibit dedicated to him at MOMA. I fell in love with his photographic style. From portraits to trash, Penn has a way of truly capturing beautiful authenticity in the world around him.

The series is one of the rare nude series that does not seem overtly sexual. He featured multiple body types in multiple poses. A celebration of the beauty of the female form.
